Tour Volcano Mist Cottage

Volcano Mist Cottage is a “single cottage sanctuary” specifically designed to accommodate two people in order to celebrate privacy and enhance the quality of the guest experience. It is located in the Mauna Loa Estates area of Volcano Village and is strategically nestled in the Kilauea Forest Preserve immediately adjacent to Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, a designated International Biosphere Reserve and World Heritage Site on the Big Island of Hawai’i.

The Master Bedroom at Volcano Mist Cottage features a queen-sized bed with luxury multi-layered bedding offering the ultimate in comfort and warmth.
A separate daybed in the living room can accommodate an additional person.
All linens are provided including luxury towels, bathrobes and slippers.
Cottage amenities include a full kitchen and pantry stocked with continental breakfast items.
Indoor and outdoor lanai living rooms.
A romantic cast-iron fireplace.
Sony Bravia LCD TV with cable service and Bose home theater system, a music and video library.
Washer/dryer.
WiFi/Broadband internet access and telephone service.
Eco-resort amenities include the outdoor “Temple Bath” shower and forest side spa, both of which utilize filtered rainwater captured on the premises.
For the athletic and adventurous, we also offer two Trek mountain bikes.

Located one mile from the main Park entrance and even closer to “downtown” Volcano Village, our vacation rental residence offers easy access to all the adventures that Mother Nature offers, as well as to the galleries and shops of local artisans, chefs, orchid growers and winemakers. Yet, we are also a peaceful and quiet sanctuary, a home away from home and a safe haven for those who seek to turn their backs on the world for awhile.
